Childhood Toys

The theme for week 10 of MCP Project 52 was Childhood Toys.

This one almost had me stumped. My son is a teenager and his current toys consist of computer games and paintball gear. Not exactly what I had in mind.

I know that some of my own childhood toys are still hidden away in the attic of my Nana's house, but I didn't have the time, or the money, to make a trip back home for a photograph.

I really thought I was going to have to submit an off-theme photo.

My co-worker, Claudia, saved the day when she returned from a trip to Germany with some cute little wooden toys. I remember having one like this when I was a kid. You press a button on the base and the animal goes limp, then springs back to life when the button is released. Just the thing for a little stress-relief during the hectic workday.

She brought chocolate, too.  Bless her!

Haha, like that a German little gift reminded you of your belongings... As kind I could press this button for hours without an end..
Thanks for explaining LARK to me and yes, I think we all carry some mysteries and riddles inside us. And that is good the way it is! Have a great weekend.
