Ursula

This is Ursula. Her mother came into our family as a stray two years ago. Ursula was the first-born of four kittens and one of three that we kept. (The fourth went to my step daughter.)  Ursula is small and she has no tail, but she has a big personality and beautiful golden eyes, which she usually closes whenever I try to take her picture. On Saturday, I was lucky to catch her napping in the sunbeam. A rare quiet moment.

I am submitting this photo to the iheartfaces photo challenge. I'm hoping that they will love it as much as I do.

Thank you! She's very pretty when she's sleeping. The rest of the time, she's a stinker.
I love the cat ( and the pic). Her personality shines all the way.

Thanks Paula! You should see how much personality this cat has... always getting into trouble!
First of all, that is one gorgeous black cat. Reminds me of the one we had a while back, named (obviously enough) Shadow. Also, it's quite weird that you named your cat Ursula, which is the same name I gave one of my characters in a short story I wrote.

Thank you! Because she has no tail, Ursula reminds me of a little black bear, orursa.Hence the name.More weirdness for you... Ursula's best buddy is my other black cat,Shadow.
Well that's not an uncommon name for a black cat, lol. However, the name Ursula is. In my short story Ursula was a witch living on the Jurassic Coast sometime during the 18th century. She is being sought after by locals who are going to put her to death, but she is saved at the last moment by a young nobleman. Centuries later Ursula returns the favor by saving the life of his great great grandson.

Anmyway, enough about that. That is a stunning photo and you should definitely be in the running for first place.
